The presentation is scheduled for next week.
The release of the 9000X3D processors is getting closer and closer: After more and more leaks about the release and performance of the CPU have emerged in the past few days and weeks, there is now also a “near” confirmation from AMD that the presentation of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is imminent.
On the X/Twitter platform, the leaker “9550pro” shares an invitation that is said to have come from AMD and was distributed to members of the so-called “A-Club”. According to the invitation, the “AMD A-Club Leader Alliance Gathering” will take place in Macau (China) from October 23 to 24,

No explicit mention, but a hint in the picture
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is not mentioned directly, but at least the date matches the previous rumors, according to which AMD will officially present this CPU on October 25. The market launch is scheduled for two weeks later.
A hint at the predicted “king of gaming CPUs” can be found with a closer look: The small product packaging on the left side of the picture clearly shows the number “7” on the photographed cover.
That the event will specifically focus on the already released Ryzen 7 9700X is an understatement.
- Instead, the case fits the leak, which gives the Ryzen 7 9800X3D a priority in the release cycle: The processor is to be presented in the coming days as the only one from the upcoming X3D generation, while the rest is to hit the shelves in the first quarter of 2025.
- There are other signs that the presentation is imminent: motherboard manufacturer Gigabyte is already explicitly talking about BIOS features for the upcoming Ryzen 9000 X3D processors, which set an ambitious goal:
In the invitation itself, AMD speaks of “new strategies to enhance the gaming experience and explore potential applications through on-site professional demonstrations and experiences on dedicated machines”. The event will also provide a look at previous development strategies and future plans.
