Intel hasn’t buried Battlemage yet: New graphics cards are being unveiled at Computex 2025, including a dual GPU model with 48 gigabytes of memory.
At Computex 2025, Intel is showcasing new Battlemage graphics cards with double the VRAM – 24 GB instead of 12. Under the name Arc Pro the Intel Arc Pro B50 and B60, which are based on Intel Arc B570 and B580, will be released.
The graphics chip is identical to the gaming models, only the memory configuration differs What is new, however, is that there is also a dual GPU version of the Intel Arc Pro B60. This special model was developed by board partner Maxsun itself.
Arc Pro is not intended for gamers
The downside for gaming fans of Intel GPUs: Arc Pro is aimed at workstation users, primarily those who work with AI models – which requires large amounts of memory.
If you spontaneously thought of Nvidia’s SLI technology, which has been dead and buried for some time now, when you heard about dual GPUs, you’re wrong when it comes to Intel’s dual GPU card. The second graphics chip doesn’t accelerate a single additional pixel in games.
Oh, and if you thought of 3dfx Voodoo 2 when you heard “dual GPU,” you’re either old or well-versed in PC history.

The Maxsun Dual Turbo is two graphics cards in one slot
The Dual Turbo manufactured by Maxsun with two B580-class GPUs behaves like two graphics cards working on one board and not like a model that is twice as fast but recognized as a single graphics card.
Maxsun uses PCIe bifurcation for this, a feature that allows the PC to split the 16 lanes of a PCIe x16 interface into 2x 8 lanes, for example, and address them separately. However, not every motherboard supports this mode; bifurcation is more common in the workstation sector – which is where Arc Pro is ultimately located.
The card’s video outputs are separate, with one half for each graphics chip. The 48 GB VRAM cannot be addressed in one piece. However, this setup makes sense for training AI models, where many graphics cards are often combined in a workstation.

The TDP of the dual GPU card is said to be between 250 and 300 watts, with Maxsun stating that it is still working on the ideal value. A single Arc Pro B60 is said to be around 120-200 watts.
Project Battlematrix with 192 GB VRAM
The full configuration with several dual GPU cards, which Intel is promoting under the impressive name Project Battlematrix, is also not intended to accelerate the latest PC games. On corresponding platforms, up to eight GPUs can be connected to each other in four PCIe slots and used together with the appropriate software.
In total, such a setup comes to an impressive 192 GB VRAM. AMD and Nvidia’s gaming graphics cards will probably take many years to catch up. Maxsun has not yet announced a price for the card.
